I am linking MPEG videos to PPT 2001 presentations using
a setup disc (a CD that is set up exactly, same disc
name, directories, etc., as the final CD to which we
distribute the presntations and videos on) and PPT seems
to be messing with the links. We do this because the Mac
Viewer does not find the files when they are placed in
the same directory.

Under "edit movie object" the path and file names are
appearing correctly, the video file is correct when run
outside of PPT, yet when played in a slide show a
different file runs (there are about 80 different files).

We have used the method described above on numerous
project without any problems. The same presentations in
this project are also in Windows and there are no file
linking problems.

Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
Christian
