Why cant I preserve the 8.5 x 11 dimensions when using the Acrobat Distiller
to print a PowerPoint presentation? It always results in 10 x 7.5. Also, what
is the best customized job option to convert a PowerPoint presentation to a
..pdf file? My needs are simple. I need to preserve the colors, fonts, and
whatever else I can while keeping the file size at an ABSOLUTE MINIMUM!

In Ppt, check File > Page setup. 10 x 7.5 is the Ppt default. Have you
modified this and Distiller is still whacking the file down? Keep in mind
that 10 x 7.5 is not the same aspect ratio as 8.5 x 11, and a slide won't
fit perfectly.

Start with Screen, and you can play with the compression settings in
Distiller, especially the quality pull-downs. Small=ugly, so be careful.
