PPP Error 720

Having trouble with dial up modem. Error - No PPP Protocol Configured.

IBM Lenovo X41, with WINXP SP2.

had a look on the net, and found a few solutions and still does not work.

I have reset TPC/IP and winsock. have uninstalled/reinstalled all drivers
and software. still no luck.

Please help

I have seen this solution already, and it does not apply to my problem.

Any other thoughts would be helpful?
