Did you buy powerpoint? It is not free and it is not bundled
with any version of WinDuhs.

(I don't know if PPT is sold separately; every PPT instance I've
used was delivered as part of an Office package.)

I haven't any idea what you eman by "networking slideshow", but to
display a PowerPoint file you need software to view it.

1. PowerPoint (included with Office that you can buy)
2. PowerPoint Viewer (available from Microsoft)
3. OpenOffice (freely available from www.openoffice.org)
