Powerpoint Viewer

My email has always allowed me to view emails I get that contain pps files
however something has now changed and it won't let me. I get a message "This
file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.
Create an assocation in the Set Assocations Control Panel' Is this in the
main control panel of my computer or somewhere in Windows Mail because I
can't find it. Can someone please help. thank you
