Powerpoint viewer with outlook express

I recently installed service pack 2 and a security update for outlook express
KB911567. Since I have not been able to open pps attactments in outlook
express. I can open them by saving them. I can also open them in Yahoo.
The computer company suggested that I uninstall KB 911567. Is this the way
it has to be or is there a fix to allow opening pps attachments from outlook
express?

In Microsoft downloads you will find program called PowerPoint Viewer 2007
(and Visio Viewer 2007). These downloads are to be used by those not having
PowerPoint and/or Visio on their systems. Shoud work just fine on your
system.

Unable to open .PPS attachments directly from Outlook Express?
Use the automated fix file located on this site. I have used it several
times without any hassle.
It's straight forward and does the job. If you want the learming curve go
for the manual version.
