PowerPoint Viewer not running

I have a brand new Dell computer that was already loaded with the PowerPoint
Viewer, but when I try to open any PowerPoint presentations they just don't
open. I've even gone so far as to download the viewer from the website to no
avail. Any suggestions? The exact message I receive when trying to open one
is as follows: This file does not have a program associated with it for
performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control
panel. If I could get some help here, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
so much!

Are you trying to open presentations you've received in email?

Have a look here:

Thank you very much. I can now open presentations in Outlook, but I still
can't open them in Hotmail or Yahoo. Any suggestions there?

Download them to your PC and open from there.
