powerpoint viewer 2003

Hi All,
Until a few days ago, I was able to open a .pps attachment in Outlook
Express with powerpoint viewer 2003! Now, since SP2 it doesn't work. I can
save it to disk and open it but not directly in Outlook Express as before.
If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate hearing them. Oh, I also tried
to install powerpoint 97 viewer but it told me I couldn't install it. Wrong
system type!

Hi Alice,

Not sure if this will work or not by it's worth a try.

In Outlook Express go to Tools - Options - Security tab and uncheck:

"Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could
potentially be a virus."

And "Block images and other external content in HTML e-mail"

Hi Bert,
No that didn't work. But, I installed Office Xp (which includes PowerPoint)
and now it works just like it did before. I don't get it at all! But now
it's fixed.
