PowerPoint 'Title & vertical text' Layout..

In my slide layouts I do not get the two options of 'Title & vertical text'
and 'Vertical Title & Text'. Does anyone know why, as my other collegues seem
to on there Powerpoint, which are all Office XP versions.

What template are they using? Do these layouts show up in the Slide Layout task
pane?

For what it's worth, I don't have those layouts either, so I suspect they aren't
slide layouts that come with PowerPoint out of the box.

I could be wrong on this... but I think it's something to do with having far eastern fonts installed.

On your colleagues powerpoint is there also an extra entry on the "edit" menu called "reconvert", but it's missing on
your computers powerpoint?

These are only available if you're on a system that supports Asian text in
languages like Chinese/Japanese ( ie, that can be used vertically )
