THX! Echo. I believe it was a master issue. The file had over 46
masters
with basically only 2 controlling the slides. They must have copied in
slides from a bunch of presentataion decks along with a lot of pasted Word
text. Which turns it into a mess! Deleted all masters not needed and
this
seemed to solve the problem.

On a Title & Text Layout slide I manually reduced the font size so all
text
would fit. I saved the file but when re-opening it reverted back to
the
large size. The auto correct options are all turned off.
