Powerpoint Slide Show

I am giving someone a slide show (PPS) to someone with an linked avi
file. Since I do not know what folder they are going to put both
files and they are not very computer savvy is there any suggestions on
how I can be sure that the slide show and movie will work properly.

Put both the .avi file and the .pps file into the same folder before you
make the link and make sure you send the .avi file with the presentation.
Depending on your version of PowerPoint one of the better options is to use
the package to CD option which makes sure that all the files are there

I would use the package for CD, copy to folder option and pass your
presentation to your friend as an auto run CD, that way everything should
waork as you created it.
