PowerPoint - slide content showsin details, but actual slide is b

I have Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003. In Powerpoint, I have a slide
that was emailed to me with Clipart and additional info...I can see all in
details drop down box, but slide itself is totally blank. Can you help?

First thing I would check: Go to Help--> About PowerPoint and check that you
have SP1 installed. If you don't have it, do Help--> Check for Updates and
get it.

If you have it, try turning down hardware acceleration. This entry from
