Powerpoint 2000 file shows some empty slides in Powerpoint 2003

On upgrading the Office 2000 to Office 2003, the only area where i had
compatibility issues was Powerpoint. Almost all my earlier presentations
(*.ppt) in Powerpoint 2000, when opened in the PowerPoint 2003 showed few
slides totally empty. The slides did appear in the right order and number
except that these few slides donot show any content - the others are all fine.

All other basic issues like copying the files to a different PC with
Powerpoint 2003, and with Powerpoint 2000 have been tried out. I am a
technical person.

Gaurav,

Perhaps the slides with missing content had "linked" information. And perhaps the linked folder has changed or moved
Or maybe it's somekind of OLE object that has also moved or changed to the underlying data.

Gaurav,

did you install the Service Pack 1 for Office 2003? It fixes some issues
which occured with compatibility and graphic problems.

Kind regards,
Ute
