Power utility?

So I have been looking to see how to auto boot windows at specific times.
Nothing XP Pro can do by itself from what I see so I was turning to some
utilities out there. While quickly browsing I thought maybe some of you have
run across some good utilities for this very thing? Am trying to make my
computers turn off at certain days/time and then turn them on at certain
days/times. I have never really cared for the hibernate function built into
XP Pro plus I want to conserve some power by turning off machines when I
know I want be using them for a period of time or need access to them even
if briefly. A lot of utilities I briefly glanced at don't see to have a
function to boot or turn on a machine. One concern as well is if I set it to
auto login, what is the best route for this as I typically like the security
of having it logout automatically after extended periods of time. So I am
hoping that some of you would have some good suggestions on such a utility
for XP Pro that may be free or if need be, low cost? Would be much
appreciated!

Hi,

Up to my knowledge there is no such utilities running on the XP. But you can
use BIOS to set specific time. But only some of the BIOS versions give this
feature.

thx

Windows is not running anymore after shutdown! Therefore, neither Windows
nor Windows based utilities can auto boot your system at specific times.
