Power point presentation ends early

My daughter is making a slide presentation with 48 slides. All is well until
the 34th slide. We get a black screen reading "end of slide show, click to
exit" on top of screen. The side bar shows the additional slides, however
Power Point does not seem to recognize these slides. Any thoughts? Thank you.
 
Right click on the thumbnails of the slides that does not show up in slide
show. See if they are hidden. If the slides are hidden, click on hide slide
again to unhide it.

Also, click Slide Show > Set Up Show.
Check under Show slides section, see if "All" has been selected.
