Laura

Please help. Am presenting a comparative analysis in power point what would I
do so that when it is shown in a slide show it will be presented in
comparison not as an enumeration in one side column and then enumeration
again in the second column, hence, i would like when it is presented it would
come up like this:

DAY NIGHT
-bright -dark
-doesnt need light - needs light

Wish that in the slide show, DAY would come first then NIGHT would come next
then bright then dark then doensnt need light then needs light...

Not like in the slide show, DAY would come then bright then deosnt need
light then after that NIGHT then dark then needs light.

Pls. you can help me the steps.

Thanks,

B

Hi Laura,

This is easy if you are using PowerPoint 2002 or newer.

1) bring up the Animation pane (2002 & 2003 - right click on the text box
and select custom animation // 2007 Click on Animation tab then select
Custom Animations)

2) You can pull down the animations (small arrow under the animation item
names) on the two text boxes to show all the lines of each.

3) Now you can reorder (click and drag) all the individual lines within the
text boxes to animate in the order you desire.

Text box 1, line 1 => DAY
Text Box 2, line 1 => NIGHT
Text Box 1, line 2 => -bright
Text Box 2, line 2 => -dark
etc.
