Power managment probs with 9700Pro

Hi guys, this is my very first post to this NG, i was a Nvidia user for
years before getting a good deal on a 9700Pro.

I am having some power managment problems with this card, my motherboard is
Gigabyte GA-8INXP with the Intel E7205 chipset, AGP 8x etc, monitor is a
Mitsubishi 22" Diamond Pro 2070SB.

Basically what is happening is the monitor goes into standby mode
every-so-often, and when i press the keyboard or mouse to wake the computer
from standby nothing works.

Any ideas?...is it a driver issue with the Catalyst 4.1?...

Hi Rich, bad news I'm afraid, I have the same mobo/chipset/graphics card
setup as you and I'm still trying to get them to work together a year and a
bit later. There's another thread here where such problems are being/have
been discussed, look for "ATI 9700 pro screen goes blank randomly". There
are some good links in there too, to forums and stuff where you might get
more help. I hope you are lucky enough to beat the odds and not have the
same probs as me.
