having problems with TV- OUT`

Please help me i ve took the steps of getting a Gigabyte radeon 9700pro
(good card may i add) and swapped it from nvidia, which i was worried about
at first but am quite thankful that i did! (i m not bias in anyway had no
probs with nvidia)

but anyway down to my question, i plugged my s-vhs cable in the back of the
card and then switched on and went to display.... blah blah and then enabled
multi-displays and enabled the TV but it would nt auto detect i had to force
it to detect.

i managed to get my desk top on the tele and everything worked ok..... until
i tried to watch a DVD through powerDVD, it would nt work, it should on my
monitor but not on my tele the screen went blank.

what am i doing wrong?

thanks i ve sorted it out.

went to overlay tab in properties and yes cloned it..
