The screen saver stops and the monitor does not shut off if the monior shut
off timer is set to more than five minutes. Works fine if scrren saver
initiation is set to four minutes and power off monitor is set to five
minutes. Any idea as to why higher time settings won't work?

Check the hardware manufacturer's web site for the latest Windows 2000
driver for your graphics adapter and monitor.

I have updated the driver.............. still the same problem.

What happens if you logon as a new user? (create a new account in 'Users and
Passwords').
