I would like to be able to enable my power management for my laptop that runs XP Pro 2002. The issue that I am having is when I go to control panel and open it up, then double click on Power Options. The Power Options Properties window pops up but I only have 4 tabs that appear. When I click on advanced and where it says Power Buttons- WHEN I CLOSE THE LID OF MY PORTABLE COMPUTER... It will only allow me to select DO NOTHING. My question is do I need to add another driver to enable the standby and hibernate buttons? What advice can you give me to solve my problem so that when I close my laptop it will go into standby? By the way I have already installed Dell QuickSet but that doesn't work either.
