Even though I went to change the way the power button behaves it still acts
the same and just puts the PC to sleep. I want the power button to shut
down my PC.. How can I do this?

Are you talking the hardware power button or the power button in the Start
Menu?

On the Power Options page, the Choose what the power buttons do refers to
the actual hardware button on the PC.

You need to go into the plan settings and under advanced to change the Start
Menu power button.
