I have posted three different questions here and of the three I have only
received one reply. That was telling me that a MVP had replied to my
original post. When I click on that post I see no reply. The other two posts
have had no reply that I can see.
Are my settings in OE wrong, are the replies being dropped before they can
be seen? Sumtin's no right hereabouts.

View menu, Current view, Show replies to my messages. It might be that
propagation to your news server is slow, also.

When I can't be sure where replies are going I try the following:

use a web browser to go to
www.google.com/advanced_group_search?hl=en

fill in the author entry with the email address I used to make the posting.

click search.

At the end of each of the results it finds there is a
link to see the whole string of messages in tha conversation.

Peek at that, it appears that for your email address there
are three different hits, one with six messages, one with
fifteen and one with two.

I hope this helps

You may not be downloading enough message headers. There are over 1000 posts
a day. Uncheck the box to download XXX number of headers. This will download
all the headers available on the server.
See my sig for a link with tips on setting up OE.

You seem to be posting through your ISP, so are presumably using their
newsgroup server. Some of these are very poorly updated from the main
server for these groups - I would switch to using that instead, making
a new OE News account for it
