Post-Imaging Problems... PLEASE HELP!

Hello,

I recently imaged 4 computers on my network using the
image of another. I renamed them accordingly to join the
network, but when I try to access the computers using MMC
or Network Places I get an error message:

Logon failure: the target account name is invalid.

what disk imaging sw was used?
did you apply sysprep before distributing the image?
