Post being ignored????

[M.I.5¾]

Sometime my posts are not reconized by the newsserver and even though the
posts go out the do not appear in the newsgroup. I have a copy of the post
in my outbox so I know they did go out, so where did they go????

I am using Outlook Express 6.0.2900.5512 to post the messages.

Maybe they are being censored because of the gratuitous spam at the end of
them.

It is a pity they DON'T filter Randem's posts, with the amount of SPAM
addresses he has in them!

Apparently, MS also filters posts containing names of legit newsgroups,
including:

alt . comp . hardware . pc-homebuilt

MS doesn't filter those groups, MS just doesn't carry them on their NNTP
servers. Not carrying a group is different that filtering post to a group
which is carried.

On rare occasions, articles I have posted have failed to propagate.
Sufficiently rare occurrence that I have never bothered to investigate.

MS doesn't filter those groups, MS just doesn't carry them on their

to a group which is carried.

containing text, such as the names of certain newsgroups.

Ah. Sorry about that. As I said, I've only have some rare posts fail to
propagate; and never felt the urge to investigate. So, you are saying that
including 'alt.comp.hardware.pc-homebuilt' in a post gets filtered.

Ah. Sorry about that. Interesting ... So trying to post
'alt.comp.hardware.pc-homebuilt' gets a post filtered. I see you posted one
via Giganews that made it to Google Groups; now there is a swamp festering
with spam!

What really surprises me is that they haven't filtered my articles on
General Principles, considering the 'Organization:' header line I use.
