Possesed Mouse

One of our users is having trouble with her Mouse in
Windows XP. When she moves her mouse in a certain
direction the cursor carries on to the edge of the screen
in that direction. It doesn't do it all of the time but
it is doing it more frequently. It is not the mouse as I
have tried a few known working mice. It can go off in any
direction. Any Ideas?

I am sure it isn't a group policy issue. It sounds like a setting in then
control panel under mouse or a conflict with drivers.

Uninstall and Reinstall the drier for the mouse
