positioning the taskbar

I'm using Windows XP, and my problem is that I can't
position the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. I can
drag and drop it to either side or to the top but not the
bottom. Any suggestions?

try dragging back to the bottom then clicking "Lock

I am wondering the same thing. I need it back on the
bottom and I cannot figure it out!

Right-click on the taskbar, unlock it.
Drag to the bottom.
Right-click the task bar, lock it.

If that does not work:
Restore the Taskbar to Default Functionality (Line 164)
