Positioning Graphics & Text on Page

Greetings,
Being somewhat new to Frontpage 2003, I have encountered what I am sure
is a beginner's problem, with regard to a set of graphics (actually an
organizational chart) which I have on one of the pages of my site. First of
all, the location of the offending page is
http://www.tagnaritus.com/members.htm.

The way by which the chart was created, was simply by using text boxes
and lines to connect the various departments. In the preview part of
FrontPage, it looks fine, although I now note, that when I pull up the help
funtion, the page itself shifts to the left, but the chart does not. As a
side note, I see that in Firefox, the horizontal lines are not in the correct
position, relative to the the rest of the chart.

One can only imagine how this will look at various resolutions, either in
IE, or another browser, and I am at a loss as to what to do to create what I
want, in the correct manner, so that it will remian attached to the overall
graphic layout of the page.

Any assistance would be immensely appreciated.

Thank you so much!

VML graphics (text boxes, Word Art, Shape art (lines and arrows etc.))
should be avoided on the web since it is only rendered in Internet
explorer - other browsers see a poor quality .gif image instead.
Text boxes are absolutely positioned, which means that when the browser
is resized the text boxes do not move, but the resty of the page does.
This is most noticeable if the text boxes are placed in table cells, or
a table is resized above the text boxes. See
http://www.rxs-enterprises.org/tests/VML-graphics.htm for more reasons
not to use VML.

For your chart, I suggest using the chart as displayed in Internet
Explorer.
Do a Screen dump (Alt + PrtScn) to copy the chart to the clipboard.
Then start a graphics editor and paste the chart.
Crop as required and save as a good quality .gif image.
Import the .gif into the web and use the image to display the chart.
