M Mike Hall \(MS-MVP\) Oct 23, 2005 #3 Right click on 'My Computer' and select 'properties'.. now click on the 'Hardware' tab and then the 'Device Manager' button.. Look down the list of device types.. click on 'Ports'.. right click (highlight) LPT, and select the 'uninstall' option.. Rebooting the computer will force XP to reinstall drivers that, hopefully, will work for you..
