Ports

I have W2k server and updated to SP4. I can' t get access to my
databases. I tried to telnet to the db port from another machine and
the port is not found. This was all working before the update. Where
do i go to check the ports on the server/

Hello
Which database? Have you tried service in Control Panel->Administrative
tools->services. A service of the database might be not running.
