Portable apps, anyone?

Hi!

I wonder if anyone would have info on portable apps. More precisely:
where would I get for example OpenOffice 2 and Seamonkey or Firefox
compilations to run on a WINNT system with simple user priviledges,
without installing/writing to registry?

Most of the portable app sites that have been mentioned in ACF are

Thanks to this discussion, I now have Portable Open Office installed on
my computer. It opens a lot faster than its big brother does -- even
when the big version has the quickstart option set.
