Popups after Adaware, Spybot

I am running Windows 2000 and am still receiving popups
after running adaware and spybot. What else can I do to
get rid of the popups?

It depends on what kind of pop-ups you are getting. If
you are getting standard IE pop-ups, then something like
the (free) Google tool bar's pop-up stopper will work for
you. There are other pop-up stoppers too. If you are
getting Messenger pop-ups, see

(these are not MSN Messenger related), then they can be
disabled with either a registry setting, or the utility at
the URL above.
