Spyware

I have got Adaware, Spybot, spyware blaster, Iespyad, CWShredder and google
toolbar installed this seems like overkill but adaware and spybot always
find spyware but at least I don't get any popups. What's the best thing to
avoid popups and what's the latest version of IESpyad?

Try running the anti-spyware programs in Safe Mode.

I first heard of Spyware and adware in this group at that time I had so many
problems with Internet explorer that I thought there is no way this will
stay in use.

This is just to say that after going through the messages here and doing
many things . I have not had an unwanted freeze up for many weeks now.

Jeff,
What you've got running is *not* overkill, just layered protected with known,
proven products. You might consider adding a "HOSTS" file to that.

Still getting pop-ups are likely due to unremoved - undetected Spyware.
If Ad-aware, SpyBot & CWShredder have not detected it, run "HijackThis"
