HELP...help...help...

I have managed to DL an unwanted active object, probably, and it keeps
giving me incessant popup windows that I am infected, and then opens IE with
addresses that vary from:
Ultimate Cleaner 2007
SecurePCcleaner
ConfidentSurf
safewebnavigate.com
softwarereferral.com

this program has thwarted Norton, AdAware, Windows Defender, Spybot Search &
Destroy, etc...

How can I get rid of it or do I have to format and reinstall? Thanks...Mike

Go to run,type:regedit In regedit,expand:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/software
see if it listed,R.click,delete.Do the same for LOCAL_USER/software,exit
regedit
when thru.Go to run,type:%Temp% Go to edit,select all,delete all,close out,
run disk cleanup.Also,type in search the name of object(s) or
software,include
hidden files,delete.Strangely enough,windows messenger can hold thier info as
youre pc listed with them,uninstall messenger (windows components),or view
the lists it has....
