Unwanted shutdowns with hp pavilion notebook.I have been having this problem
for 3 mo. I've done a system restoration, checked for spyware(MS Giant Beta
and Spybot Search&Destroy), Viruses (Norton). Also ran tool to detect Sasser
worm infections. Nothing! It shuts down randomly, after 5, 30 or 120
minutes, online or offline, no pattern! The fans in my notebook are running
and it does not seem overheated. I am using Windows XP SP2, Office 2000, IE
6.0, MSN MessengerBETA 7.0. What could it be? Thx.

I seem to have solved the problem. My Laptop is overheating and shutting off
as a prevention. So I raised it up from my desk. It has not shut off since.
By the way: Customer Service @ HP was'nt usefull. With every issue that
occurs they suggest to reboot the system.
