popup is blocked

The PC has W2K and IE6.
When I access some web pages and click PDF file icon there, the message
"popup is blocked" is displayed and AcrobatReader does not start.
I can open the file by AcrobatReader after download the file.
Is there pop-up blocker in IE6?
How can I manage the issue?

Hi Simon :)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Clear your cache
Tools>Internet Options>click Delete Files and see if it's reproducible.

also....

IE browser software defaults Acrobat Reader to "OFF" to display PDF files.
You can restore the setting to"ON" by finding an Acrobat document and then
opening it.

Open a PDF doucment, then click Edit>Preferences>Internet>check the box nect
to "Display PDF in browser"

If still no joy, try the information here:

also..

and....

Check your anit-virus and see if there it has a popup blocker, if so disable
it and see if it helps.

Hope this helps

Uninstall Acrobat Reader and reinstall the latest version from the Adobe Web
site.

There was "Yahoo tool bar".
When I eliminated it, AcrobatReader worked.

Thanks to everybody for help.
