Whenever I go to a site online i get bombarded with
Popups and they are all from Internet Explorer. Does
Internet Explorer have a popup control so I can reduce
these annoying popups? Please help!! Thanks.

The pop-ups are all hosted on IE, but are not created by
IE. If you get a lot of these (especially when you are on
Microsoft's site, which has no pop-ups) you may
have "spyware". I use McAfee's anti-spyware, but many
vendors have good software to root that ugly stuff out.
There are also commercial pop-up blockers, but be aware
that pop-up blockers also break some web sites. I have
had to disable the blocker to use some sites.

XP SP2 has a pop-up blocker built in to IE, but the same
caveat applies. Also, there are still a lot of issues
with SP2 and installing it is pretty bold right now.

I can't recall the popup flood since I've installed a good AV with a popup
blocker.

AV stands for anti-virus. norton utilties has a pop up blocker, but my
advice would be to just install XP service pack 2 which adds a pop up
blocker to internet explorer. it works a treat.
