I have Word 2002. WinXP.

I have a 200 page document with 13 different sections.

My question is... how can I insert text (in this case the date) in arch
different footer simultaneously.

Currently I have to insert date manually in every footer.

Thanks!

Did you deliberately set each section to have its own footer? -- this
doesn't happen by default. If you want all the footers to be the same, open
the first footer and format it as you want. Then go to the next footer and
click the 'Same as previous' button on the Headers and Footers toolbar.
Repeat until you get to the end of the document. (If the footers are
currently different, you must have done this in reverse at some point...)
