You can't use a free Yahoo account in Windows Mail. US-based free
Yahoo accounts are web mail only, and Windows Mail doesn't do
web mail. You can send and receive Yahoo mail in your Internet Explorer
browser at http://mail.yahoo.com.

thanks for the reply Gary...ok...so, the answer to my question is probably in
your response,...but, like i said, i'm new, so.....are you telling me to
enter http://mail.yahoo.com where it asks for my incoming mail server? so
then also enter it where they ask for outgoing mail server?

No. You cannot use Windows Mail for what you want to do.

If you want to go to your Yahoo Mail account, you can
click on that link http://mail.yahoo.com and it will open
in your web browser.

OK...SO BACK TO ORIGINAL QUESTION WITH THIS NEW INFO....HOW DO I RESPOND TO
AN ADD ON CRAIGS LIST...?

Please don't type in all CAPS.
You will have to copy the email address of the Craig's List person you
want to respond to, go to your Yahoo Mail (http://mail.yahoo.com),
start a new email and paste the copied address into the To line.

Dump Yahoo and Hotmail for Gmail... http://tinyurl.com/2txrbn

Gmail is free, internationally, and can POP through any internet connection.
