John

Can anybody please provide me with the correct
information? I am trying to set up Outlook so that I can
receive my Hotmail email. What is the correct "incoming
mail server (POP3)?" and what is the correct "outgoing
mail server (SMTP)?" Help please!

That isn't officially supported by Microsoft. You're
unlikely to get an answer for that question. It's not hard
to configure in Outlook Express (which comes with IE)
though it is a little buggy.

But to answer your question, the POP and SMTP servers are
actually lengthy URLs that seem to change periodically.
(If) when you configure OE it will find that info for you.

Thanks for the tip.I have already done that and then I
tried puting that URL into Outlook abd it is giving me an
Error message. Any good advice?

Hotmail doesn't use POP mail - you have to set it up as an HTTP account.
What version of Outlook are you using?

HI THERE I AM ALSO FACING THE SAME PROBLEM AS JOHN I AM USING MICROSOFT OUTLOOK 2000 IN WINDOWS XP DOES ANY ONE KNOW what is hotmail's pop3 server INCOMMING AND OUTGOING ONE AS I AM NOT GETTING HTML OPTION WHILE SETTING UP THE NEW ACCOUNT PLEASE HELP ITS URGENT

Hotmail doesn't use POP. Outlook 2002 and 2003 can access it via
HTTP....Outlook 2k can't.
Also - please don't type in all caps - it's hard to read and is considered
"shouting" :-)
