Any idea why when I try and execute from a school website a pay statement
with Windows Explorer it gives me an error and won't produce the statement.
However, with Modzilla (which my son turned me on to) it generated the
statement. This has happened before from the college website. I cannot
generate on my home computer using IE 7.0 but can from my work computer which
also uses IE. Any idea what I should have in my settings to allow me to
view? Thanks!

Javascript en-/disabled ?
ActiveX en-/disabled ?

Bernd - it is basically a coupon that I need to send to OSU for college
tuition. They say "it will be viewed in PDF format using Adobe Acrobat
viewer. Pop up blockers can prevent the coupon from displaying. Please
disable any web browser pop up blocker for this process to complete".

I can generate a coupon through Modzilla but Internet Explorer will not
allow me to view. When I try and create through IE, it tells me that
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".

I believe at one time I screwed around with the Active X control (have no
idea what I did frankly) and I am guessing that this might have to do with
the problem. Can you give me some guidance on how to fix this?

Thanks - tab

It sounds like it is a website you trust. So my first question is:
Have you added this Website to your trusted sites in IE ?

If pop up blocking is the problem, look here for the global switch in IE:
http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/1717/ie7_enable_disable_pop_up_blocker/

If you want to allow a specific website to display automatic pop-ups,
follow these steps:

Click the Tools button, click Pop-up Blocker, and then click Pop-up
Blocker Settings.

In the Address of website to allow box, type the address (or URL) of the
website you want to see pop-ups from, and then click Add.

Repeat step 3 for every website you want to allow pop-ups from. When you
are finished adding websites, click Close.
