Pop ups on IE startup/shutdown

When IE opens or closes, a advertisment pops up. This even occurs when I visit secure sites. Should I reload IE, or how do I locate this executable?

The pop-ups may be generated by a adware.

Download all of these utilities and scan the system.

Note: Spyware removers are rules-based and are updated very frequently as and when new malware is discovered. Therefore, update both of these tools before scanning, very important.
