pop-ups........HELP

I am having real trouble with pop-ups whenever i atempt to
use the internet, whether i am browsing or sending
emails. This problem has occurred quite suddenly and i
dont seem to be able to disabel the pop-ups. The
frequency of these pop-ups is such that I am unable to
send emails or to use the internet properly. I have
defraged the hard drive, restricted web pages etc... I
need help.....these things are doing my head in!!!!

You mean I have to GET and RUN four programs to eliminate the disgusting
pop-up ads when I use IE? Give me a break!!! I have a WinXP system
that I set up to use IE6.0. I have been using Mozilla and decided to
give IE a fair shot. POP-UP ads make IE a real chore. Now you tell me to
get and run four programs? Mozilla and Opera both take just selecting
one option to stop pop-up ads.

I guess I will go back to Mozilla or maybe try Opera.

They catch different things. Test after each one and if the problem is
fixed you don't have to run the others.
