pop-up

I run win2k with Explorer 6, Ad_aware and Spy-Blaser and suddenly I have no
pop-ups. This is great but I cannot use anything with pop-ups. I even had
to go to my notebook to ask this question. I cannot put my finger on
anything that happened but I did get a recent update. Can I search or
rollback for somthing?

None of the programs you mentioned would prevent you from accessing needed
popups.

If the above don't give you any pop-ups, something is definitely amiss. For
a roll-back you'll have to visit Wal-Mart. I only say that because I
don't know what kind of Scanreg /restore or System Restore W2K has.

Try adjusting you setting of Adware and SpyBlaster. There is a way to allow
certain sites that require pop-ups to be shown. I have not had any problems
with my system since I reinstalled Windows (with all the new updates), got
rid of Adware, Spybot, and such, and customized my security levels. I still
receive pop-ups but much less now. I just don't add or quickly delete certain
programs that have alot of pop-ups; such as hotbar and GAIN. Hope this has
