pop-up

I have received a pop-up at the bottom of my screen,
above the start bar, that says "searchbar". AOL told me
it is from microsoft internet expolorer. How do I get
rid of it?

Sounds like spyware or a home page hijacker.

Searchbar isn't Microsoft. Sounds like some spy ware. Run Adaware or Spybot
software to scan for unauthorized AD software.
