Pop up Request boxes

I keep getting a box popping up every few minutes that
says: "You or a programme has requested information from
microsoft.com. Which connection do you want to use?".
It is sooo irritating. I have disabled the automatic
WindowsXP Update as I thought this was the problem but it
makes no difference - every few minutes that darn
window!! Could it be an Outlook problem. Someone please
help.
 
Let us know which programs this occurs in. It may be your settings within
those programs.
