Pop up notifications for folder other than inbox.

On our company outlook setup, we receive faxes via a folder located in public
folders. I first attempted to shortcut that right under my inbox but it
apparently doesn't sync with the actual folder. Now I am wondering if there
is a way for me to get a pop up (like when my email comes in) to let me know
to check the fax folder. Otherwise I have to check it every 10 minutes! Any
help is appreciated. Or if you know how to make a shortcut sync to the
original folder that would be great too!

Drag the folder to Public Folders\Favorites, then add the Favorites replica to the Favorite Folders list in the Outlook 2003 navigation pane or earlier versions' Outlook Bar.

This is how our company handles our faxes as well, they all dump into a
public folder, but are then emailed to a distrobution group upon the fax
coming into the public folder. I feel this is the easiest way to achieve
what you are looking to do, that being create the Fax folder in public
folders to auto email them to whomever in your company handles incoming faxes.

just a thought!
