Email Notifications

I have noticed that if I use Outlook rules to automatically move message to
folders located underneath the Inbox folder that I do NOT receive a system
tray or pop-up notification when new email is received. Email notifications
are working as expected for mail that is not moved out of the Inbox folder or
moved to a subfolder of the Inbox. This was NOT the case in previous
versions of Outlook. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Any assistance
would be greatly appreciated.

This is a change in behavior for Outlook 2003 SP1. If you want alerts to
display for messages that moved by rules, include the rule action to display
the alerts.
