Downloading folders other than "inbox"

Hi , we're using Mdaemon as our Mail Server. Currently the way i setup
outlook express it will only download files from "inbox". Is there a way to
download some other folders (eg. like sent items folder, spam folder etc) as
well.
So that if i press "Send and Receive" it will automatically download items
in my inbox , sent items & spam folder and put them in their respective
folders in outlook express. (outlook express to have these three folders as
well)

If possible i don't want to use IMAP.

Please Help

You never mentioned the protocol used to connect to your mailbox. If
you are using POP3, there is only the one mailbox. The other "folders"
are just server-side storage assigned to your account but are not the
mailbox. POP3 knows how to do a RETR command to get mail from your
mailbox (which I use rather than Inbox which is misleading) and has no
command for switching between "folders" because, under POP3, there are
no folders, just the one mailbox.

This newsgroup, as per its name, is for Outlook, not for Outlook EXPRESS
which is a wholly different program. For help with OE, ask in an OE
newsgroup. Doesn't change how POP3 works, though.

Outlook can only download the inbox using pop. You'll need to use IMAP to
see other folders on the server.
