pop-up - internet explorer

i have a pop-up window that says page can not be
displayed. it also has a blue title bar that
says "reminder, tueday, august 12, 2003, 9:0:01 pm.
it also has a hand at the bottom of the page that looks
like it's holding a blue and green ball. i can't click
on the screen to close it. help!

Does anyone out there know how I can go about downloading a recent version
of Microsoft Virtual Machine. I can't see several webpages bcoz I have an
older version.
