With Yahoo, you have to pay for that service (around $20/yr). When you sign
up for that service, they will give you the server addresses.

Unless you have the paid service, you can't use pop or Outlook's http
access.

To the best of my knowledge, yes. In order to use an
email client, such as Outlook, you must at least have the
$19.95/year Yahoo! account. I had the same problem.
Outlook help even has this - type "retrieve yahoo mail"
and you will see instructions that you must have a paid
Yahoo! account. It also details the POP & SMTP settings
to use, once you have a paid account.

You have couple of options here, either you go for the paid Yahoo account,
or download YahooPops which is a freeware and enables Pop access with Yahoo
and Outlook even though you don't have the paid account. For free Pop access
you can also check out HotPop at www.hotpop.com they have a free Pop access
service but attachments are limited to 550kb.
